Jubilee event just makes me so sad

When the Jubilee event first came out, it was so much fun. I did the dailies, each one every single day on every one of my toons. I did the skirmish and got to reciting the Protector's Speech right alongside Lord Neverember as it was playing, as I'd heard it so much. I did sooooo many foreign merchant runs... I earned figurines for the ultimate prize, a key to the garden for each of my toons. It was such a pretty and convenient place. So many useful features. A private and secret place. I loved to be there. It was my toons home base!
Later, I got VIP and the convenience of the place was not so unique, but I still loved being there - the look, the atmosphere, and still the features were useful...
But now. *cry*
It has been destroyed for several years now. The developers haven't even cared to update anything in the garden. There is still a Salvage merchant there, even though the Salvage mechanic was removed from the game. And it is impossible to earn the figurines in game to get a garden key. The only way for my new toons to get after event access is to purchase the right with money.
No matter if I do the dailies, the skirmish, multiple foreign merchant runs. Not even by adding in the Stronghold component. I still only get one figurine per day. There is no point to doing all of it. Yes, I can earn renown for renown rewards, but they don't shine so brightly since they are right there next to the figurine rewards that are impossible to get. Getting renown rewards feels like getting lesser prizes. If you earn them, you can still see Elminster saying, Neener, neener, I have other goods here you can never have!
I just need to do only one thing each day, since I will only ever get one figurine. (I have seen my friends get figurines from the Hospitality boxes, but my friends don't reciprocate by doing enough Jubilee events to get enough hospitality to help me earn FIFTEEN figurines to get the garden key. I've gotten ONE figurine on one toon from participating in many hospitality exchanges.)
And if you can only get one figurine per day, the event doesn't last 15 days to earn the key. *cry* Thus, impossible. And the figurines have a limited life, so you can't save them for next year, and try to cumulatively earn garden keys. Why is that?????
That first year, it was so much fun, it was so exciting. The thrill to see if you would get a figurines as a prize! That is gone. There are no figurine prizes, it is so rare as to be negligible. I no longer am motivated to participate. Even the fun of earning renown and renown prizes is disappointing, because players can see the prizes available only for folks who want to spend real life money. Once upon a time, the developers had this game so everything in the game could be earned in game, if you worked hard enough. I guess Cryptic wasn't so greedy for money back then. And what is the reason that they don't bother replacing the Salvage merchant with something still useful in the game???? I dunno, maybe a banker? (I know, you only have to jump down from the garden to get to the bank, but having the banker up in the garden would save some time and effort.)
I would love to see Jubilee fun again. Return the mechanic of being able to earn multiple figurines by participating more. Fix the garden by replacing the Salvage merchant. Remove the self destruct timer on the figurines so people can eventually earn enough to get good figurine rewards, if they are only able to play casually and not obsessively... Please, this event as it is now makes me so sad, makes me cry so much.

2. You can get it from gifting. People has been doing that.
3. If the after event vendor exists for another week, you have an extra week to get more figurines. You need to keep the bounty and open it at the right time and the right time is after 8pm EST (the weird cut off time this year).
4. There are ways to get bounty beyond doing daily quests. i.e. doing escort or just standing at the right place forever.
5. So, yes, it is possible to get enough figurines.
