Logging in has gone from difficult to impossible

This is an issue that has been getting worse for several weeks. During the Hell Pit event, there were several days I couldn't log in during my limited free time, but I thought it was just server maintenance. Then every. single. zone. crashed for a while and I had to start using safe logins just to collect my daily key. Then over the last couple of days Steam told me there was some kind of problem with the patcher, and I couldn't log in. Specifically, after a short while, a little window would pop up saying "Patcher Error/The connection was idle too long."

Fix this.
So I can move on to complaining about how the entire Rage of Bel episode is atrociously designed and buggy and needs to be completely redone in order to be playable or worth any time at all.

Well, yesterday was really bad, today it's a bit better, but after a few days with having login and general connection issues, it would have been nice to read at the very least some official word about it, showing that they're aware of the issue and are looking into it/trying to find out what is going on right now.
