Dragonborn head appearance library

What happens to your head appearance library if you change to dragonborn? It seems that only appearances that work on dragonborn are saved but even though I know I can't wear them right now I don't want to lose them or have them take up bag\bank space.

I just did it and my library remained the same so that's good.
