Item appearence the same for similar items when change appearance used.

I wanted two weapons to have different appearances so I could swap them out for different occasions. Unfortunately; when I changed one weapons appearance, the other changed to the same appearance and vise versa. It worked before; until I upgraded the weapons. Now I have two identical weapons. Is there anyway to correct this? I sent a bug report and a message to the GM; but no response from either.

You can do this by using separate loadouts. Set one to have Look A and the other to have Look B in the appearance tab while the gear tabs has the correct weapon for the look you set.
