Stalls Connecting to your servers

connecting to login server, retrieving character information, connecting to game server, map screen loading... stalls

this has gotten to be a huge problem since mod 16 (it has been a problem on and off for a long time but would go away for awhile) it hasnt gone away this time. every 4th or 5th time changing toons. i can't get through invokes of 12 characters without it happening two or more time. it wouldnt be so bad if the timer for the time out wasnt so long.

and half the time, once it finally times out and i log in again, it stalls and i have to wait AGAIN.

if this is a security feature you have introduced to combat bots, its a bad one. but you could at least lower the timer to 5 seconds instead of the 30 seconds or 1 minute it is now.

Probably.

Probably a network connection issue between you and their server. Not necessary your problem. Not necessary your ISP's problem. No necessary Cryptic server problem (since nobody added to your post in the last 4 days). It is probably something between your ISP and the server.

DIdn't see this 4 days ago ... yes this has been happening a lot the past few months. Changing to Stronghold or any instance often results in disconnect or 'You have been idle for more than 10 minutes' even though you have been quite active to that moment. It is not just the OP but many players.
