From Kabal’s Caldera
There are two large pieces of writings to be found in the arena where Kabal is fought. The two are the same, one of them is flipped from left to right. There are capitals in the text but I found it difficult to identify them, so the punctuation is guess work. The square brackets are there to show where the text have been blocked off.
The script here is Barazhad. "Barazhad is the script of elementals, efreets, archons, demons, gnolls, and sahuagin" (DnD 4E, Forgotten Realms Player’s Guide, P156)
"Kabal the frail, a mage of yore, in the Cloak Tower claimed a home. A
keeper of the arcane arts, of mystic scroll and tome. A traveler from
far Calimshan, sought a cure (f)or his condition, but though he tried he
could not find medicinal erudition. The Spellplague raged across
the land, and then one fateful night the Cloak Tower and those
within were torn away from sight, hurled across the astral
plane into a strange expanse. His body broken from the
trip, he only had one chance: Spellplague energies
transformed a metal body to keep him whole, with
essence transferred, he became Kabal the Fire
-Soul. With iron fist and fiery heart, Kabal
now leads the fight. The Cloaked Ascendancy
shall rise. Leading all into light. the
light of kabal the light of kabal the
]ight of kabal the light of K
abal the light of K["
Lovely poem, I'm quite happy to find it. I have also translated other small bits from his demiplane
here.

It's a real shame the diabolic graffiti and the letters in the spellplague cavern turned out to be gibberish.
