I don't know who to direct this to so hopefully you can Nitocris, with the launch of 16 we aren't able to inspect companions when we look at them in the auction house or when someone pulls an epic or legendary and it scrolls through our chat. The option is there but the box comes up with nothing in it.
After looking through things the only way to preview or inspect a companion or mount is to have it in your inventory. That makes it really difficult to make sure you are buying a companion with the stats or effects you need and on the vanity side a mount or companion that you like.
The inspect thing is really a quality of game experience issue. We are able to go to collections and see the companions there and then back to AH or whatever but it is really a pain, especially if the version on the AH is not the same rank as the one posted.
