Yet another scaling thread

Why are we still being scaled? The logic presented by Mr. Foss is sound when applied in the context of random levelling qeueus only. We don't want a level 80 outpacing and leaving a level 15 behind... Got it, leave scaling in randoms where it makes since and can have a positive impact.

Please remove it everywhere else. I play a tank... And am better than average at it. Why am I getting one-shotted by dragons in the Seige event... Even with my sheild up?!?! Scaled from 18k to 10.5k? I've earned my item level AND the right to be more powerful somewhere like CTA or Seige.

    Have you been to the preview server? You know where all the changes they said are available for feedback, granted it's likely too late for feedback now since I'm sure they are getting them ready for roll out onto the live server.

    I agree with the scaling issue. I'm a level 64 with pretty good weapons and armor. While trying to fight a boss on a level 60 quest the boss is taking half my life with one hit while I'm doing damage of 200-600 per hit. I understand it's supposed to be a little challenging but when all creatures are damaging you at 5000-7000 per hit and there's 4 or more of them that seems a bit much.

    You work hard and spend some money on your character to have the best gears, enchants, stats, item level 25K etc, and when you enter a dungeon you get scaled to item level 12K.
    Wth?

    This game is a joke !!
