Need a way to change item stats that were ruined by latest changes

I have the Seldarine set (Artifact, Neck, Waist) that just suddenly has unwanted stats (like Crtical Avoidance, Companion Influence, Combat Advantage and so on) after this update, as well the other gear (more than half is useless now, and is still Character Bound). The companions also lost the bonus that was the reason for buying them (taunt, CC resist and so on), and a defensive tank companion become a DPS. I don't need any of these. Is there a way to exchange or replace them? Or should I buy 20k ZEN again and start over?
