About blood ruby

Blood Ruby was 50.000 RP before the new RP system came out mod 12b and it was kinda worth the (800) zen.
Now with the new rp system, blood ruby is 5000 rp and not worth 800 zen.
Rank 8 enchantment/runestone/ are 2500 RP.
Rank 8 runestone are worth between 4000 - 7000 AD.

2 x rank 8 has the same amount of rp as blood ruby.
So instead of buying blood ruby for 800 zen, i convert 800 zen to x 370 ad = 296000 ad.
Now with this amount of ad i can buy 74 rank 8 runestones worth (74x2500) =185000 RP.

What would you buy if you had 800 zen or 296000 ad?
Blood ruby (5000 RP)
or
Rank 8 runestones (185000 RP)

Ok, what im trying to say is... blood ruby should be worth 150000 RP or more or else its not worth the money/zen/ad

bloodrubies haven't been wroth 800 zen in years. even before this change they were only selling for 35 to 45k on the ah.

they should be taken off the zen market and replaced with something else much higher level.

I agree. Blood rubies are one of the many things in the Zen market that is desperately needing updated. *cough*Profession packs*cough*.

The Zen market needs a scrub and respray.
They can start with sorting out the vouchers from invoking to reflect the changes that have occurred since Strongholds made it onto the Zen board.
(Hint, hint...)

I’m willing to bet people still buy blood rubies form the Zen market. You have to remember not everyone knows the other ways to get blood rubies.

Well, indirectly they do sell a million RP. You just have to buy Zen, convert it to AD, buy teal diamonds (or other RP) on the AH, ?????, profit.

No profit at all. They are all overpriced.
The cheapest way to get RP is buying runestones very cheap and convert it to RP.

Diamond = 50.000 RP and will cost you between 100.000 and 150.000 ad.
Teal = 100.000 RP and will cost you between 200.000 and 350.000 ad.
Rank 8 runestones = 2500 RP and will cost you between 3000 and 7000 ad.

Lets say you buy 20 rank 8 cheap for 60.000 ad. That would be 50.000 RP

I would think that if they had a item like that it would be worth some crazy amount of zen to buy it so still wouldnt be worth buying

Wow! A 15% off Blood Rubies this weekend. 680 Zen for 5000 RP (which could be earned with an hours adventuring with Wanderer's Fortune). Why do these still even have such a high price now that they have been nerfed so much?

I've often wondered why the Devs don't put something on sale that coincides with the current event. During two Stronghold events back to back, something like a Stronghold sale would more beneficial (at least for the players). The Blood Ruby sale would have fit better with the upcoming Celeste event.

As of today, we do have a 15% refinement discount and this blood ruby event (https://arcgames.com/en/games/neverwinter/news/detail/10876014) that states

Celeste, one of the heroes of Neverwinter, is available as a companion! From now until May 21, every time you open a Blood Ruby Pack, you have a chance of receiving this extremely rare companion!

We have some facts right now:
- You can buy 3 blood rubies from AH for 30.000 AD
- You can buy 3 blood rubies from Zen store for 1700 Zen.
- 1700 Zen is a minimum of 85.000 AD (50 AD per Zen) and a maximum of 850.000 AD (500 AD per Zen).
- Current Zen exchange is 500 AD per Zen, with a queue of 21.021.255 Zen.

So at current price the game is asking paying 820.000 AD over market value for a chance of getting awarded with Celeste as a companion.

Isn't it a bit too much for only a chance?

Probably it would be way better either:
- Making Celeste a guaranteed reward.
- Lowering the price of Zen Market refinement (and maybe Wonderous bazaar too) to something closer to market price but always over it.
