Say what you will but I applaud this person. I think of the tenacity and sheer strength of will to power through posting 400 auction house postings. I can barely get through 1-2 dozen before my brain feels numbed.
Putting up 400 items takes forever on alts. Props to that guy with his patience.
Loading times swapping toons waiting for the log in server, loading in to the district, placing each item in 40 different bag slots or using the counter system, plus typing in 400 numbers while having the xbox guide keyboard lag and bug out every few tries if you try going faster.
What I see going on is that the 400 coal ward seller is preying on the newer player base that doesn't know how to change the default settings in the AH and they think they are forced to buy at that price not knowing that they can look else where like the zen store or the different buy options in the AH. I see something similar with enchantments for example lesser lightning being posted at the same prices as lets say pure or perfect lightning and if the newer players are not paying attention they might end up paying a few mill for a lesser enchant. These people are seeking out the people who dont know better instead of playing the AH like legit players.

Such accusations being thrown around. The games not called Nannywinter. Maybe they need to make a companion that does that. I don't want a million tutorials to wade through everytime I start a character.
hey no need to get all mad Im just calling out what it is when you see a lesser enchant in between 2 pure enchants you know it wasnt put their by mistake when you see it happening with every enchant that has a lesser version. im not complaining just calling everyone out who does it lol. its not a honest way to make ad.

The sellers are not misleading anyone. They are not changing descriptions. There is no deception. If the buyer is foolish enough to hit buy before knowing what they are buying, how is that the sellers fault?
lol In every way they are trying to mislead someone they are hoping that they catch the buyer not paying attention so they can make big off garbage enchants the reason it works is because the word lesser seems to blend in at a quick glance or you would see them trying to do it with the enchants that have a rank at the end of it. So your going to tell me that when one sells they arn't going to have a little laugh and joke with there buddies that they sold a lesser bonding for 2 mill.. Your getting so mad about this like your defending yourself do you have something you would like to get off your chest... lol I have agreed and liked your comments through this whole thing you have valid good points on alot of it I'm not wising for someone to change the AH I'm fine the way it is I don't get caught up with the get rich quick BS, but I will call you on it so others will learn not to fall for it you don't have to change a description to mislead someone. All it takes sometimes is someone to be in a rush and not paying attention to fall to this tactic. I've been playing since day one on the xbone and I've seen alot of hamster since then with alot of content but people coming up with ways to make money off people like this is wrong and I don't care how many times you try to tell me it isn't
Who is getting mad? Who is being defensive? I don't see any hamsters running around, caps lock or exclamation points. Stop putting the blame exclusively on the seller.
The seller sets the price that they want for the item. It is up to the buyer to take the time and pay attention to the description, then decide what they want to pay.

yes true there is some people not as smart as you and thats why the sellers do it plain and simple... you know what hamster means so dont try to make me look HAMSTER just to cover up whats going on here. All the devs have to do to fix this is put a rank number at the end of the enchant like the rest of them and it will stop.

Let's tone it down just a little please. I realize this is a subject that some people are a bit touchy about, and not totally without good reason, but agree to disagree without resorting to insults. Thanks!
My opinions are my own. Yes you're right the seller sets the price which is right they should be able to but that's not the case what's happening is they're posting multiple copies on multiple different characters and some of these people have other accounts and they're doing the same thing again and again and again when they're locking out the right to be able to purchase stuff from other people they are stealing they are controlling the auction house that's not right not fair and for people that put real money into the game and transfer the Zen over to ad that is stealing that's why I asked Neverwinter why they are condoning this and letting people get away with it because it is a literally stealing money actual money from people that is a crime when you're playing the auction house like that just fix the auction house where we can see every freaking post
They are doing nothing of the kind. It's not stealing and it does not lock out your "right"(whatever that means to you) to purchase stuff from other people. The only part of your complaint I think has any merit and needs to be adjusted is that there should be a listing limit per account, not character. Cryptic should decide that limit (higher than 40 though) and it would remove the advantage used by having 50 or so characters on an account. I doubt the game engine could handle showing the full number of items listed in the AH, there is a lot of junk listed in there as well.
As has been said before, use the sort. It is not possible for them to be first in every sort possibility. As far as I am concerned, if the have the lowest buyout price, they should be first in buyout sort no matter how many items they list. If the quantity is too low, make multiple purchases, if it is too high scroll or try a different sort. Sorting by high bid or time expires ruins their plans. Only in the default sort do they have a chance of blanketing an item, don't use it.
