my SW needs help

I mained a SW for over a year now and i love playing with it and ill continue to do so.
however, since the recent owlbear cub fix (or nerf for me) my SW got hit pretty hard.

I understand that the owlbear cub does not have to work like that, but at this point i see every class in a pug surpass me without a problem.
As a 13.8K SW i'm pretty sure i deserve better than this.
I could switch to a templock but i would still be fairly useless compared to other support classes in my party.

However i refuse to give up.
I know there trying to buff/fix the SW class in mod 13 but up until then my SW is a death weight that needs to be carried.
What i'm trying to ask from fellow SW or other players that have a knowledge with this class is how you would compensate with this?
Is there a way where I can partially restore my honor as a dps class in this mess ?

Well, as you said, there as a partial rework of the SW coming soon on the PC, as a part of Mod 13 which should appear on the PC Preview server later this month. Those fixes may get tweaked a bit, but at the very least, the SW will improve somewhat. You should get that update on the PS4 maybe in March, (o early April), but quite frankly, until then your SW will suck - at least as far as raw DPS is concerned.

I don't play my own SW that much, and the SWs in my guild have mostly switched to playing other characters for now.

Go full templock as you will at least be able to buff the group and heal (if needed). Yeah it is inferior to a DC or a CW for buffing but it is far from being worthless.
