Old rings vs new

I've been wondering if the ring of brutality +4 was still a option if you have any new chult rings. I'm currently using ring of brutality +4 and ring of the goblin slayer +5. But I just got the ring of the beast slayer +5 today so what I'm asking is it still worth it stat wise to switch out the +4 brutality for the +5 beast. Also the toon I'm using it on is a Hunter Ranger.
Thanks.

If you need the critical strike to get to 90-100% crit, you’d have to sacrifice something. A brutality four would be something. You’d lose the power but since the uptime isn’t 100% you can get radiants in offense and make up the loss a bit.

If you don’t need crit (ie if you are already around 15k crit before bondings) why bother, unless you can rearrange stats elsewhere. Or item level hunting.

Keep in mind its got two offense slots so you’ll suffer a loss of deflect or lifesteal, however your build is. Especially with two of those rings.

I’d consider the beast slayer 5 if i was short crit, and maybe beast slayer 4’s on the companion just to keep lifesteal going strong through bondings.

    But hey, you do you.

Losing a def slot was one of my main concerns also wasn't sure on how much it would effect my power. Definitely need to take a look on moving things around thanks.

I'd recommend using the new chult rings, I used to rock a +4 brutality with Azure off n' def to cover the crit and the def was welcome, but due to the Beast ring it covers the crit needed from the Azure, with a little extra, and since im a gwf the recovery is just more power, but instead of just slotting Radiants I went n' slotted 6 Brutals in total, two in each ring and my neck and shirt. ^-^ Balanced my crit back to how it was before with a bit extra, and much better base power, remember the Brutal ring isn't ya base. c:
