Quick question for you guys about logging into the launcher

Sorry if this has been asked before, I googled several times and couldn't find a solid answer and the arc/cryptic faqs are very vague on the subject.

When you run the game from Steam, and the launcher pops up, do you have to enter your password every time? I couldn't find any way to save it and I saw some references to linking a Steam account, but I couldn't find anything in my account settings or profile regarding this.

I know it is a pretty common practice these days for games with alternate accounts to link to your Steam account for automatic login, but I can't tell if this game supports it and I don't have it configured, or if it just doesn't support it.

I log on using Arc and it auto fills my username and password. If I launch it directly I need to give it my password. I used Steam with NWO a long time ago so cannot be certain but I vaguely rmember it auto filling my username and password. I don't know of any option we can enable which will do the same, if there is maybe someone more knowledgeable will be able to help you.

Requiring my password every time is needed for?? I use strong passwords so entering 12-15 random characters every time is a real PITA!! Add a simple option to save it! I am guessing this is an example of doing something that someone things is more secure, but it only leads to people using simpler passwords and results in less security.

If you use security programs like Keepass you can simply right click on the Keepass interface, copy your password then just paste in the password field. It's the only option you have if you want to use a secure password and use a program/app that will not save your password.
