Professions
I have an idea for professions. The idea is to raise the cap on the professions to 30. Originally I thought of going to 50 but I couldn't think of filler stuff for all the levels besides 30, 35, 40, 45, and 50.
So instead I went with just 5 more levels. Now these levels would cost a lot of experience but would give players that aren't lucky a light at the end out the tunnel. As for experience I'm thinking of the following:
26th - 100,00 XP
27th - 200,000 XP
28th - 300,000 XP
29th - 400,000 XP
30th - 500,000 XP
For a total of 1,500,000 XP to go from 25th to 30th. I know that it sounds like a ridiculous amount but what till you hear what it allows you to do.
These levels allow for Transconfiguration of items. Basically you would use five of one level of an item to create the next level of the same item. I'll use rings for the example because they are the easiest to follow.
At rank 26 the Jewelry Maker would be able to take five Rings of Rising Power +1 and make a Ring of Rising Power +2. At rank 27 the Jewelry Maker would be able to take five Rings of Rising Power +2 and make a Ring of Rising Power +3. So at rank 30 the Jewelry Maker could take 625 Rings of Rising Power +1 and slowly make a Ring of Rising Power +5.
This should also be tier so that if they make it to tier 2 or 3 they earn some XP but tier 1 would just make the new item.
The new item could either be account bound or unbound. Which would introduce +5 rings to the market. Either way would work. I just wouldn't make them character bound.

Professions really do need an upgrade to go with the new content.
