Sorry to bump an old post but I just got a K55 and it isn't working. Adding either "gfxEnable 1" or "gfxCorsairEnable 1" to the command line paramters doesn't work (unrecognised command error), nor do they work in-game. The console flag however does work (hence I see those errors).
The corsair CUE is claiming an app is overriding the backlight when Neverwinter runs, however no lights are showing up at all. Is there anything else I can do in the meanwhile? I looked at the PCL log and it doesn't say anything useful either. I tested both through Steam and through Arc, neither of which work.
So to answer my own question .. It seems like the K55 simply isn't supported since it doesn't have per-key lightning effects. For Far Cry 5 they had to add a modified lightning profile just for the K55. /r/Corsair/comments/87td5o/far_cry_5_and_k55_keyboard_help/ (reddit link but I can't post hyperlinks yet)
Bottom line ... fork out a few more bucks for a model that supports per-key lightning if you want the lightning effects in-game. Maybe the devs can add support for the k55 eventually? Since it seems like it is possible to support it, just not in the same way the per-key lights work.
