I noticed that since an update (i think it was around module 11 or 11.5) that MSAA seems to interact funny with some items.
One example are the tattered clothes in SH. Without MSAA they looked fine, with MSAA they flickered like crazy. I reported it. They are gone now (where the red ones near the mimic).
I didn't bothered much with it because that was on preview where the game increased my settings from personal to high. On live I had it off because I used an old GPU and wanted high FPS.
Now I got a new GPU (RX570 FTW) and can have MSAA always active and it does some bizarre things:
Without MSAA

With MSAA (Dragons aren't allowed to fly and you can watch at the end of level because the mountains/rocks in the distance disappear)

I also posted a few hours a bug with some trees in the jungle of chult:
Without MSAA

With MSAA (Tree gone, we have ghost vines now)

It also causes problem in the distance and blurrs out a lot in the background (look far left):
Without MSAA

With MSAA (You lose sight)

Bottom line is that MSAA doesn't work properly with some graphical items in the game and makes them invisible and also doesn't really works with certain filters in the background and blurrs everything out.
I don't think it is a thing of the RX570 because my HD7870 had similar issues. It can be an AMD/Driver problem. So it would be interesting what Nvidia user experience.
