Zen store sale

IIRC last year around this time there was a 50% (?) sale on zen store items. Is this an annual event that will be happening again this summer?

    Since the winter sale was only 40%, my guess would be another 40% summer sale during the summer festival next month.

    The summer promotion charge event starts in a few days, and no better way to get players to spend their fresh ZEN right away, then through a nice sale.
    So, that by the time the "Tomb of Annihilation" comes around at the end of July, the players want to get more ZEN for that module.

    With no summer sale, no point in spending ZEN directly, and no point in getting more ZEN for the module...
    I do believe in killing the messenger...

    Not sure what street that is :smile: Nobody knows about the big sales outside of Cryptic/PWE until they're announced. Any player speculation is entirely speculation.

    However, this link itself does not mention the 50% off sales.

    Well, only for one day, but at least a "full" 50% sale... time for some serious shopping. B)

    I wish they would at least email the users when there is a spur of the moment sale like this. If I had at least gotten an email about it I might not have forgot that they might be having a sale. I missed the sale by a half hour. Possibly more because I heard people saying that the sale ended hours earlier than was announced.

    I have heard people stating many reasons why the sale happening on the day it did was very inconvenient for them. I hope they at least have the sale one more time to address these issues. Making it last for at least 48 hours would be much better I think, and would probably address most peoples issues with it.

    They do that on purpose and it is always like that. They don't tell you about it until it is live. They tell you about it through facebook (not even in this forum) and you may be able to spot that in game (if you are in game).

    There are many fails this year. Very bad.
    For console, it is the same day they deliver a new version. Their server downs for maintenance for a long time. Then, players needed to download the huge patch. Then, everything went bad because of the load + many things .....
    Then, the sale ended early.
    Then, the free bag is not available on the 2nd day ...
