Where has all the Arcane Focus Gone?!?

Ok, I just have to ask, “Where has all of the Arcane Focus Gone”!?!
Before the update this past Thursday, I was able to find one at least each day, while running all of the digs. OK, not all of the digs, as Tamper still has not worked for me since Module 11 first came up, but I keep trying. Prior to Thursday, I had accumulated 40 Arcane Focus, after many hours of running the digs, but the past 2 days I have not found even “1”!!! I just finished running digs for 3 hours, and with my system of hitting each dig once, then going in and killing Kabal, it is a simple dig, kill, rinse, and repeat to get what I need for the new weapons. I only need to kill Kabal 3 more times for my main hand, then start on my off hand, but at this rate it will be summer before I find the last 5 Arcane Focus I need.
Has anyone else run into this issue since the update?? I noticed they changed the attack for Kabal on that update, as he is always starting on the Anvil now, rather than starting on the ground, which makes it harder to figure out where the lava us going to bubble up from so that is fun. So I am wondering if they nerfed the drop rate of the Arcane Focus at the same time, or did I just suddenly become unlucky!!

Having just gotten my 105 Arcane Magical Writings, I now need only 42 Arcane focus to upgrade both mainhand and offhand. That means 2 more weeks of visiting dig sites. On the positive side, I can use that to do the daily quest as well to progress in the campaign ... and no need to farm anything else...yay!
I've been getting alot of Arcane Focus (well 3 per day) compared to what other ppl are saying. I'm fairly sure that I've been getting an AF every time I do a crypt that has the the last room where the altar is in a lower level in the middle of the room (out of Idris I think), has an elite mob and the final loot is a small chest at the back. Has given me an AF the last 5-6 times as long as I haven't already got the 3 AF's already that day.
Atm I'm only running Mod 11 on one toon, so I'm not sure if the cap is account or toon based.
I've just got two today and three the day before yesterday (didn't run any yesterday), I'll check to see if the 3rd pops under the same conditions . . . . .
nah cancel that, I just did the same type of dig site and no AF . . . . hmm bugger spoke too soon
On another note,, before yesterday, I do remember getting an AF drop occasionally on the small heroics as well, which I don't see a whole lot of people doing.. can't remember if any dropped on the big ones or ship either but I wasn't paying a whole lot of attention at first
These are just MY experiences... not saying others are wrong or not experiencing something different... just wanted to put forth what I have observed

it happened with me today, i was in a party and managed to farm 3 arcanic focus, in all dig sites i pressed the button to take the loot, but when i finished, those 3 arcanic focus have gone or i dont received them at all.
Some players reported the same issue today, check the arcanic focus numbers after farming.
I farm daily, I used to farm 2-5x full dig sites. but now that I've seen a loss.. I do it one time and move on. With this 'change' on thurs possibly I've just flat out stopped buying things in RD till it's announced.
One thing I HAVE positively noticed the last cppl of days tho, is not being able to loot the pile a second time even tho I'm carrying around extra maps of all 3 types
Second, there is a rumor going around that if you get an AF while double-looting, you actually get a -1 - that is, lose one AF. Probably false, but it would be pretty neat, if true.
After a 20 hour wait, I went back in and did 0/8 on my dc yesterday..
apparently i shouldve waited 24 hours..
personal timers, that have no explanation is the biggest issue here.
I will agree.. just put the effing things on the daily quest.. remove from dig sites.. you do your chores.. you get your stuff. in 29 days you can have a set..
I usually stop at 8 now regardles if I have the 3.. none of my toons have hit 40 arcane focus yet..
Most days I get 1 or 2.. most of my toons are now into the 30s though.
Hopefully they are tinkering with it slightly. If not.. then it will take me on average between 45-50 days to get the set.
Its still rather painful.
I DO know people that are not having my issues.. they seem to go in and just get their HAMSTER every day..
I really have no idea what the issue is.. Im starting to think that my issue was I originally farmed at night.. the swapped to mornings, before I knew of timers.. this caused me to be behind greatly the first week.
I still struggle with this.. I CANT always farm the same time every day.. which has really messed me up.
If they just PUT the damn thing on server reset to start with.. I doubt many of us wouldve had the same issues.

Dungeon - 0
Dungeon -opened twice had 1AF in each, but only 1 hit my inv

then it hit me.. if we onyl get 3 a day ... perhaps you only get one from each of the types. I'll test tomorrow again, but makes sense if they limit to 3.
PS: So the focus is now a daily reward - cool. Cryptic didnt have to also reduce its dig site drop rate but they did anyway so whatever. You guys, devs, have a very good game on your hands. What you need to learn is that we dont like randomness. Or at least we like it to a point. People want to get value in return for their invested time/effort/money. Otherwise we are all hamsters in wheels.
