Neverwinter used to run beautifully on Wine, it was even unofficially supported by one of the devs there I believe. But now with dx9 support gone, does it still work?

Or even better, could we get a port?

yes it work - you need to totaly delete old instalalation on play on linux, make new one, and change wine version to 2.1-staging, and change in preferences from windows XP to windows 7. It will work that way.

I was using 2.1-staging and it worked well (except for the water area in storm kings thunder...I really lag there). I've since upgraded to 2.2-staging and the game is running better than it ever has. Obviously, a lot of your luck will depend on your system specs; most notably our video card. GL
