Cowardly Neverember *spoiler alert*

When you go to check on the crown with the Open Lord of
Waterdeep... he actually curls up and hides behind the columns.
wt? That was sad and pathetic. Can't you at least have him
pretend to fight?

I don't want to help him anymore.
Did you really think anyone could steal the power of the god of thieves?

    He's an old man now.
    I'm not looking for forgiveness, and I'm way past asking permission. Earth just lost her best defender, so we're here to fight. And if you want to stand in our way, we'll fight you too.

    Don't forget, his main weapon is the ability to send people to sleep when he makes speeches. Anyone else remember the 'challenge' of staying awake through three rounds of his keynote speech in the special SCA 'dungeon' during the Protector's Festival (or whatever the correct title for the event is/was) ? :)

    At least Neverember is open about his lack of fighting skills, or that his true skills lie in making a profit. Compare to Nasher Alagondar, the so-called "hero" of the Nashers. Nasher Alagondar was an idiot and a weak-willed man who tried to put up a brave, noble and dignified front despite the fact that he was an insecure coward who continually sent innocent people to their deaths for the sake of the "greater good" (ie, his pride).
    At the very least, Neverember might have thrown some cash your way before sending you to your death.

    Neverember might be a politician, but at least he's not the type who pretends that he isn't one. He was also actually honest with you in his time of need, something Nasher never did in the Neverwinter Nights games (which led to the deaths of thousands).

    Give him some credit. Although he can't fight, he is brave enough bringing just you to the crypt instead of the whole gang to protect him. He also dare (and is stupid) enough to talk to that evil looking female alone.

    Lol not really, but I see OPs point.
    I kinda sympathize with the Nasher position.
    Neverember is a [spoiler] broke poser and a coward.
    If NWO had a Mass Effect or Baldur's Gate -style morality choice system I would turn against Neverember immediately. He's a tool.

    Perhaps they'll give us a chance to dump him for a true heir at some point.
    But probably not since he's standing in PE the whole game. You'd have to swap
    his graphics out for someone else, depending on if you'd gotten that far in the game.
