There's not much to add, verifying helps nothing, nor does updating the drivers or clearing the cache.
Give or take, like clockwork, seven times in a row now between yesterday and today, when I had to write a long mail and I'm finishing it/spell-checking I get a nice and sudden crash and everything is lost.
It takes approximately the same amount of time to crash in each occasion, never less than five minutes, but rarely more than twenty.
Not that I mind, I rarely write something longer than four lines without making a copy of it somewhere every now and then but - Here we go, this makes the eighth crash since yesterday.
Worth noting is, that I tend to keep the guild management window open at the same time to look over the Roster as I write.
The stars are falling, and the old gods silent as death, with the blood sworn to rip you down from the night sky, what cost will pose too high?

To workaround, maybe write the email in wordpad or something else outside of nw, then when it's spellchecked and ready, do a copy and paste into the mail message. You can still have the guild management window open at the same time, but make sure to close it occasionally and move around.
I /crash/ not log out due to inactivity.
You know, closed game, send crash data to Cryptic's spam folder message.
You actually aren't logged out due to inactivity while writing a mail. I know, I've spent the better part of an hour with some.
