How broken is PvP matchmaking?

I queued up with my friend and we got into a full premade. Now the premade had all five people with IL 3.7k or more (most over 4k). They had all tenacity gear etc.

Me and my friend had these two in our party:


Notice that they dont have any tenacity. They have IL under 1.5k and all green/blue gear with no armor/weapon enchants at all. They had no guilds, so no Stronghold boons what so ever.

When is it time to fix the matchmaking so it actually tries to match so that all players has an chance to win? Are you not seeing the problem here? I understand that better matching would require more waiting in Q but really, why would I want to go into a match at all if its an instant loss?

Also, you can have all the class balance in the world. It wont matter at all if you keep matching 4k against 1.5k IL. The Solo Q has the exact same problem, I was melting the players because I got matched against no-gear players.



Make tenacity a REQUIREMENT and make a better match and take IL into consideration.

At least you died good looking :-) that is some sweet garments there nice to see....

Pvp before 3kIL + tenacity gear is not to recommend though if any pvp in this game today is.....

Also another fine example of PvP I just had. I came into a match 900-200 and we lost after like 1 min or so.

Totally need a tenacity requirement. They have item levels for Pve. And its not like you can't buy 3 peices of warborn and a guild piece from the stronghold if you are in one. If they wanted more competitive games they would do this.
