to much spam in protector's enclave

since cryptic has changed the way we have talked in protector's enclave have they ever thought about doing the same with LFG and Trade so people cant just spam things in zone anymore for how i know the bots do it as well when we have to use the report button cause only reason i wanted to ask here to see if they could do anything to make zone a better place for how i know it wont happen for how much spam we have to deal with each and every day

    Actually Cryptic has been heavy handed with muting new accounts until they have achieved an unreasonable goal. Many new players are not made aware of this goal and have achieved level 30 to 35 before they can ask simple questions. Since September, they are required to complete 3 or more "quest chains". If you are new, would you even know what to look for in the menus.

    Meanwhile the spam runs rampant anyways with older accounts trolling on religion and politics. My point is, spam is going to be there no matter what heavy handed action Cryptic takes next. Each time they do, it takes more freedom away from the new to average player. The question isn't about what Cryptic can or cannot do about the spam. What do you choose to do about it?

    I am not bothered by random PMs or mail from spambots. With my current custom settings, I don't see spam even in Protector's Enclave. I have preached and educated players about how to use the game settings, how to make simple adjustments. But I guess it goes in one ear and out the other. :(

    Other players have made the effort to educate and by building new custom chat channels to avoid zone chat. However players don't desire to use them. Therefore it is my opinion, they wish to go on reading the preposterous hogwash the trolls and spammers spout on a daily basis.

    I see when I'm in protector's enclave always hear how people always complain in zone when they have to listen to people spam LFM LFG Guild AH and Trade cause when i see them spamming nothing but lines i can understand how much it can get on someones nerves why i was seeing why they couldn't make a chat warning for spam while making some guild channel for people to ask for guild in cause i just didn't want to kill off zone or anything but just wanted to find away just to make it better so we didn't have to listen to all that stuff for what people do in zone

    Check your chat options (the wheel in the top right corner) and turn off zone/trade/lfg in your social tab.

    im a new player(lvl13) and i saw a message telling me 5 quests. but i do see the spamming

    no I do not see LFG Trade and so on because I made my own tabs for that I'm just saying that instead of people saying LFG LFM and Trade that they do it in zone where it becomes a problem where I haven't been the only one that has ever told a player to stop where I think having a new guild channel and a spam warning would be nice so that way if you had a guild channel that you could go to it it at any time and say LFG guild since I know it doesn't happen all the time but when it does that I'm not the first person to speak out
