Taking Deflect damage out of combat

Is anyone else having the issue where they are almost constantly taking damage from Fey Thistle and similar boons when they are simply near the high gear players with those boons? I'm a Temptation Warlock so, I'm not exactly built for pvp in the first place, so taking a ton of damage from deflect based feats when I'm not even attacking is extremely annoying.

My only guess at this time is somehow my passive auras are triggering it like Aura of Despair, but why would something like that trigger a deflect.

I can explain how it happens.

Some powers like auras proc the deflection.

Your auras will always be active (some)

There are armor sets that also have aura set bonuses to hinder enemies. These also proc deflection boons.

Best place to notice this happening is in the Stronghold. As you run up to the 2 Giants (15 man SH HE) on your own they have some kind of Aura going on. As you get near to them they take damage from Fey Thistle without you pressing a button, this causes them to agro and charge you. I am not sure exactly why that was, also have a Trans Shadowclad equipped. Also you can see Feat's like Lucky Blades (HR Class) triggering at the same time as Shadowclad just wandering around doing nothing.

This stuff happens all the time in Pvp too. Sometimes people will get hit by fey thistle and my damaging boons if we are just standing next to eachother watching 1v1s. Im a gwf on xbox with 10% deflect wearing a negation. Makes no sense lol.

I think we covered this in another thread, but Lucky triggers when you have no armor enchant slotted.

Yup, I brought it up here though as it seemed relevant and for all we know these things could all be connected somehow

Hopefully Cryptic does something about this then, cause passive aura's make no sense for triggering deflection.

Passive auras can be deflected by players and enemies.
