what to do with extra insignias?

Can they be feed into something? I imaging they don't trade for much AD as they are just filling my inventory and giving me a headache.

You can donate them to guild coffers, sell them for copper/silver, sell them in AH if they're worth anything, or throw them away. If you have extra mounts you can also store them on your mounts (you should have them on 5 mounts anyway to access 5 insignia powers.)
