Not being able to charge 1 mil ad for lantern of revelation anymore?

    Never got one in the first place? Weren't they dropped from random skirmishes with like 0.0001 % chance? I remeber checking the ah 3 weeks after release there was like 2 lanterns

    Yes, still price gouging. Glad I held off on one. Can get them as cheap as 150,000 now.

    Usually the first major mistake new players make in the game is running the Artifact Recovery mission and choosing the catalogue. I did it too lol.

    So for min/max purposes on endgame PvP the lantern is best in slot for nearly all characters ?
    And the catalogue gives you a nice way to get rid of junk and buy stuff as you level thoughout the whole game, but is rendered useless at one point or not ?

    Lantern is the best choice for DPS classes and Waters for Support. The Catalogue is for new players who think it'd be cool to have a vendor on call...

    Yes they did. The glorious and the new LB both have the lantern in it. It now goes for around 150K AD. I don't need the lantern as I have now all the artifacts I want.

    ...and if it was one of the three choices, you might have a point. This wasn't about BIS, it was about the choice of the three free artifacts from the quest. As was said above, in general, "Lantern is the best choice for DPS classes and Waters for Support."

    The only good reasons to choose the Catalogue is if you never intend to use either of the others and want a free stability feeder or for the fun factor of the vendor. I always get the vendor on my crafting character, because sooner or later that Catalogue is going to be fed to a Forgehammer.
