i am now complaining, just remembered months of insulted reward i have been getting Breyer Tome in eLoL, never get horns. i am surprised Breyer Tome is bound, i refuse/decline it, it is terrible! that why i dont run anymore, gave up because that RNG is broken and lying all the way to nine hell.
You're all wasting your time. They don't care about feedback, as evidenced by this being on preview and the devs doubling down on 'this is a known bug but we won't ban the exploiters' comments.
Just hope that my friends and I can make a break from this mess soon. I've never seen a company disrespect it's customers this badly. Shame on them...

It's the fact that we HAD to peek because the loot SUCKED.
That's the bottom line. If 95% of the time people actually USED the key to TAKE the loot, this would be a non-issue.
Do the developer not see this? I'm literally exasperated to the point where it's getting tough to type.
The loot is so bad in the game that people are clearing content, opening up the reward chest and saying, "No thanks".

Do you get it now? Loot. An aspect that is so fundamental to Dungeons and Dragons. The entire point of there being Dungeons to delve and Dragons to kill is to take their loot.
And you guys have literally created some bizarro-world D&D where thousands and thousands and thousands of adventures are literally exercising their option to not take the loot because it's so bad.

No, you're not reading it right. He's saying to watch out for a bug where after you open the chest, you don't get the loot in your inventory. You won't be able to see the loot in advance in any way. Only after you open the chest can you see the loot, and by that time the key is used no matter what.

Just to update for those not watching the Preview Forums. There is another discussion of this change going on there about the actual testing of this change. Where-in Terramak stated the following:
Dungeon Key Chest Changes The changes announced in the Dungeon Key Changes thread are now on the Preview shard. Instead of being able to preview the rewards without spending a key, the player will now receive the rewards immediately upon opening the chest, consuming the key in the process.
While the change has succeeded in initial testing, it'd be appreciated for players on Preview who use this system to keep an eye out and give feedback on the experience - for instance, whether opening it while the inventory is full works as one would expect, whether there are rare cases where the player doesn't receive the items shown in the chest reward UI, or if the rewards from certain locations have unexpectedly changed.
Thanks for the feedback, folks. Most of the changes in this Preview update are from closer to the beginning of this week (as suggested by the build version), and we'll continue to keep an eye on the comments and questions.

Exactly. Calling the players exploiters but in their kindness they don't plan to pursue action against them. Meaning that they still might ban those evil exploiters of this bug.
Imho these comments just add fuel to the fire. I know it's not meant that way, but it's best for them to remain silent until they have a reworked chest loot system in place. There is absolutely no way to defend this HAMSTER, much less trying to sell it as a necessary move ("significant bug" my HAMSTER).

If you ever fix any of the hundreds of bugs in the Foundry (which are well documented and recorded for your benefit even if you are not keeping track yourselves) and ever update it at all with new assets and finally manage all the exploit Foundries:
Key suggestion
1) Have a chance for keys to drop in the end chest from running Featured Foundry quests that meet the requirements of the Daily foundry. The end chest loot is so bad anyway(Just one green piece of equipment), this would encourage players to actually run Foundry content and encourage authors to build and submit quests for featuring (and finally be able to achieve some foundry achievements to boot such as having a featured quest and number of rating stars).
Instead of grinding forever for currency/astrals with the same old stuff, players can at least grind new, interesting, varied, and some times jaw dropping content every run, every day, muliple times a day, for a chance for a key. Key drop rate in the end chest would have to be SANE, none of the "run hundreds and thousands of times and get nothing" BS we currently have for dungeon runs.
AAAAANNNDDD they can run the content solo or in a party ALREADY. No need to PUG or wait in a queue, no need to meet any dungeon requirements.
Monetize suggestion
1) Monetize the Foundry. Minds better and smarter than mine have submitted solid ideas of how to monetize it. Check the Foundry thread for those discussions, or the private messages of several of you developers who received those ideas directly.
This is all hinged on IF the Foundry even gets fixed. I know all to well that you stated very clearly that no changes will be made until after the New Year at least. But maybe we can speed that up a bit for this to be viable before you lose tons more players.

These changes are live on Preview. The patch notes are up. I highly recommend that players do try it out on Preview if possible and leave as much constructive feedback concerning this as possible. Perhaps we can at least sway them a little on the value of the rewards in the chests.

It would seem that this change will be going ahead regardless of anything that is being said by the people posting on this thread. It would have been nice if he could have put in an appearance on this thread to make this statement. As it stands, it just suggests that while the Devs may be reading this thread, they are paying absolutely no attention to what has and is being said which is a shame.

I don't believe any of you actually really are gonna leave this game or have learned anything at all.
I don't agree - some will stick around as long as their prepaid VIP runs (since we don't get offered a buyout), but with the very heart of the game - dungeoneering - being made economically forbidding, there's really not much reason to stay; you can keep on using the TS for chatting with the people you got to know in NWO while playing other games.
Yes indeed. Playing the game doesn't mean giving them any more money. And this is the sentiment throughout the alliance I'm in which is not a small amount of people.

Step 1 : Open Software Control Panel
Step 2 : Uninstall "Arc Games"
Step 3 : Select Yes I want to remove all games from arc
Step 4 : Leave a comment.
