Quest trails not showing up on overlay

For some reason the quest trails sometimes do not show up on the overlay but will show up on the minimap still. Also the colored lines that rise up from item drops from enemies do not show up either. This is a very frustrating problem which I hope the devs can fix with the next update.

Try open up the share screen and take a screen shot. Dunno why but it brings back quest trails, loot, summoning circle ground graphics, etc

Neat, I've been closing and re-opening the game, I'll have to try the screenshot trick.
