Question about a head effect!

Latly I've seen quite a few people with both a blue, and a green huge circle around their head, it's not the ioun stones, as they are small and does not look anything like it, the ones I'm seeing are huge, covers the whole head, and parts Of the back, l was wondering if anyone has a faintest clue of what item that is?

I believe that was a destiny joke. There was a head effect long ago after completing the nightfall strike that lasted 1 week.

The circles could be from the equipped soul gems from tiamat

I first noticed them a couple days into the day of the dungeon master event. Dont know if they r related.

They probably have a beholder mount and that is the stink around them after getting out of it. LOL...
