How many words...

I am looking into the maximum number of words that you can fit into a Guild Mail... or even In Game Letter. Has anyone dug into that subject?

Just curious as I am writing a New Member Letter template for new and future members of CA... and looking for a frame in which to keep it all.

    I counted it once, I will try to dig it up again, I believe it is something like 2541 characters, but give me a few moments. I know it's an odd number, at least. Might be more like 4521 or something.

    Ugh, ok, I can't find where I saved the number. :( I'll see if any of my officers remember.

    I'll be honest I don't know the letter count but I often run out of them when composing Guild mails & have to go thru & use abbreviations, remove a few apostrophes etc. !!!

    It will be interesting to know the exact count though :)

    2048 isn't a strange number, it's exactly 2 kilobytes.

    Well, I knew it had a 2 and a 4 in it, and it wasn't a number that ended in 5 or 0, which to me makes it strange.

    Oh please people, put your geek back in the drawer beside the slide ruler. LOL I work on databases for a living, most of the time fields in the database are aligned with byte (8 bits by the way) and kilobytes. Some database fields are numeric and you have to express the number as byte, integer, long integer, float, double, etc..

    I have to go cry and stroke my slide ruler now.
