Neverwinter queue system..

Is neverwinter going to fix the queue system?
Evrything i join a Epic dungeon i get in a party with 4 other dps... THE system should automaticly find 1 tank 1 healer and 3 DPS !!! If there are too few tanks or healers give them a 2x XP Buff so more player will make those classes ! Anyway fix your system otherwise THE fun Goes away once you hit 70.

    So you would rather spend 30 minutes to an hour in the queue like you do on WoW as a dps, rather than figure out a way to adapt and kite?

    Adapt, sure. Sitting in a 1600 required (should be 2K) dungeon with 4 other 1600s. I would rather wait 30 mins then waste 2 hrs trying to adapt.

    You cant complete these Epic dungeons whitout a tank ,healer n 3 dps around 1700 ilvl. Yes i would rather they fix the system as i Said before!

    The real problem isnt who gets in, its the lack of balancing and rewards at the listed requirements. To tank a pug group in kessell a tank needs to be around 2k, not 1600, to survive and hold aggro. But at 2k, there is nothing worth puging for from the 1600 areas.

    Hell at 1600 there does not seem to be anything in t1 worth queueing for without it just being a full guild/friends run, for tanks, either

    Only reason is to complete a quest or beat it once to get the achievement. But you are correct.

    Doesn't kessel artifact gear drop in there? The gear im following on mmominds suggests i use those pieces as a paladin tank so that's why i run it.

    I know exactly what this post is, i was adding to another post further up saying that there is no point running these if you're a high item level.

    The queue system, and where you get your gear, are connected, though. If there is nothing of value for a given role, you will have endless problems finding someone playing that role, unless you bring a friend or guildie to help you out.

    Changing the system to require specific role combinations would only further penalize players who dont have a guild group to fall back on. Unless they change the loot to provide better incentives to the roles that are not showing up. As someone mentioned, there is a great paladin tank item in kessel. In a chest you can only open once a day so there is no reason to run it more than once a day, unless you are helping out a friend.

    So if you queue up at, say, 8pm, yet all the tanks still running that instance ran it before 7pm... the changed system would mean you never get in unless you alter your play times (not always doable). At least now you can find work- arounds, even if it means a never ending stream of suicides to slowly burn the boss while one person runs around like mad just to keep it from resetting.

    All of that can be fixed by adjusting loot tables to keep people queueibg up.

    Err, you can't re-enter the boss fights in epic dungeons once you're dead.
    If it comes down to a choice between running my daily quests while we wait for a queue to pop, or getting into a group that's doomed to fail from the start, I'd choose to get useful stuff done. Making artificially short queue times isn't helping anyone.

    The sad thing is the queue system counts a pld as both a tank and healer so on some occasions you would get 2 healers or 2 tanks.

    Which is why it's best to form your own group

    It let me reenter kessel after i failed to dodge a golem bomb... was that not meant to happen?

    The PvP side is worse, since it just spits you back out of the queue - over and over again. It's an endless loop at times. For instance, tonight it booted me randomly from Domination and Gauntlgrym matches 14 times in row, until I was "lucky" to be deemed entrance to a match.

    Something is inherently flawed with this queue system on both sides of the coin. If this is working as intended (speaking of Domination and Gauntlgrym matches), then whomever designed the algorithm for it, or in charge, should be immediately let go.

    Kessel is a skirmish, not a dungeon. In dungeons like Valindra or LoL the bosses are behind those trigger/gate things (you know, press a button to go through) and they have that purple "gather your party" thing to get in. Once you die (for good), you get placed back outside with no way to get in until the fight is finished.

    I noticed this. On the weekend I manage to get my first run on Kessell. It was a piece of cake. Dammit, I finished it without dying (and my warlock is on 1650 power). But since I live on Brazil, my timezone is a little different. This week I barely find a group and when I really find... well, maybe you can find the pieces and blood of my character on this dungeon.

    So I figured that or I play Skirmishs and Campaings on week (trying to raise my power on the hard way) and play early on weekends (hoping to find someone). Or I leave the Epic Dungeons for when I have more power (and the rest of the server, since it is a new one, after all... the high power population is still low).

    the que's are find , it the item level set up is messed up for those of us on ps4 , since there is not enough people to carry people , It should be a item lv 1800-2000 min normal epics and masters 2200+, since on the ps4 most do not got the boons or there artifacts level maxed or high enough. so frustration , maybe after this double refinement be better,. Some of us understand it was for the new pc and xbox players so you get more new players , so they get the end game faster. but entire version of the game, on ps4 catch up brutal. still trying to catch up , been rough, and frustrations, on ps4 side.

    Agreed! Many do not have any boons or less then 5 and have less then 2 artifacts and they are rare or below. The enchants are sitting at rank 8 or 9 (do not have the vorpal at all). Many have low level companions and mount, no crests or crests they do not need and low bonding enchants. So many are power leveling and missing all the necessary stuff and wonder why it is so hard.
