Fresh 70 Tank help?

So my GF Dragonborn Tank will hit 70 today.

I have spent around 300k I've accumulated on 2 months VIP. I have around 240k AD now.

My questions are:

1. What is a really good tank build for end game epics dungeons? (Link if possible)

2. What mount benefits a Tank the best?

3. This is my main headache, what COMPANION? I was told by a high level tank on zone chat to just buy the Shield Maiden and that would be just as good as other companions. With it being so cheap, it makes me wonder. I heard Ioun of Allure & Might were better.

4. What is the Artifact I should be chasing?

5. I have a ton of purple runes etc for mounts, companions and gear. A few rank 8 too. What are the kind of runes I need to focus on?

For now (like every other mmo) I just want to tank and keep my party alive. Once I'm familiar and know what I'm doing and gave the squired skill and gear I could change my build to possibly more buff oriented.

Off topic (kind of) how good is the Mercenary companion? I feel if this companion can benefit my tank and my hunter and future alts the Heirlom pack would be money well spent as the companion is universal and account, not character bound.

not wantiing to nit pick you buddy but in the time it took you to type this general msg you could have done a simple google search and gotten all the information you could handle and several builds and be trying them out already. try doing a little research on builds before asking people to just hand them to you.. good luck in your gaming this was just some friendly advice

I was going to the doctors and thought I'd ask on a general message board for questions and answers for when I got back.,You're contributing nothing with your reply. It's like ppl on boards replying "Google" to every answer.

I'm a trophy hunter and have been getting quite a few platinums, I don't respond to ppl with "Google" when they message me for help.

those guilds are pretty much out dated now sense pc got the mod 10 nerf yesterday

My main concern is the companion. I don't want to waste AD on either upgrading the wrong one or buying the wrong one. It's all my AD after all. If the merc can do the job on all classes that seem a viable option for my money. If the Allure is the one to get for a tank I'll use my last AD on it. I just want some general guidance from experienced players as this is a long term game for me and would like to hit 70 running.

heres a guide i been following it may help on the companions or least give you and idea
but like i said pc got a big nerf on gf so for an updated guide i'd wait till pc has tested it

im sorry you feel that way but people spend great amounts of time creating those guides and they can be very helpful. asking people to type all that out just for you because you don't want to put in the research is a little off putting to me as I know how much work it takes to create a good guide. do what ever you wish its your game. but don't be surprised when people tell you to perform your due diligence

P.S those guides are only out of date if your are playing on PC, consoles haven't received mod 10 yet

there is no one way to play, what your asking is just opinion based I have been trying to help you by giving you references and advice on how to better help your self in the future.. the builds are different and all over the place because they arent ment to be mix and matched they go for specific builds with a goal in mind. one might be a hybrid build and the other a purely a tank build and having feats and boons and companions to match those specific builds and the mod they were created in.

ask whatever you want its your life, as i will state again since you seem to be getting frustrated by not getting the response you want which is to be spoon feed what you need.

read descriptions and find companions with active ability's that compliment what your going for, same goes with mounts in your stable they all offer different stats and perks some better suited to one objective over another.

as far as AD it comes and goes and is easy with time to replace and the longer you hold off buying things the higher the market is getting everyday as people get more available AD the prices keep rising so bare that in mind also
