In my opinion, this is a great example of where attempting to solve one issue just creates a whole host of other issues. It's great that there is now a way to see / track the intended progression of content which was confusing for new players. But the new interface has a host of usability issues.
I very much prefer the old interface to the new one. And I just started playing Neverwinter a few months ago, so I'm not a 3 year veteran.
My first big gripe is the scrolling and the size of the images for each campaign. I really don't need a 200px high image for each campaign. Also, it might make sense to hide the completed leveling areas by default with an option to show them.
