Heck, it would benefit me too, since I could put it on my resume
I love this game. I will keep playing it, and spending money on it, even at times that I want to uninstall it and throw my computer into the river. As I've said before: Neverwinter doesn't need to be "just another MMO." Cryptic has the ability to make this game into something incredible and fantastic... to truly raise the bar for all MMOs. To break free of the mold and truly excel.
But with a small staff and big ambitions, releases like this will continue to happen. Bugged to the point of being game-breaking (yes, unable to tend production structures and/or upgrade things is game-breaking to me), when there is an army of mature players (mentally and/or age-wise) who share my passion of D&D, and NW, and who want nothing more than for Cryptic to succeed.
There's no good reason, if there are a cadre of players who are willing to go out of there way to help test and are willing to agree to an NDA if necessary and that have been shown trustworthy and mature time and time again for years, why Cryptic shouldn't take them up on their offers of assistance and be more interactive with them.
Exactly this. Identify players with the maturity and skill to help make Neverwinter great, and incorporate them in a meaningful way. By the way, this applies to the Foundry too. There are many highly skilled content creators willing to invest many hours creating outstanding content for the game, if only Cryptic could find a meaningful way to integrate their talents. Oh, and could bring the Foundry back online.

This does not shock me one bit. There is no one listening when bugs are reported before release... hence why it is a huge mess. Why bother having us test things, if you do what ever you want anyways?
Elemental Evil, full of bugs but none were addressed until after it was implemented SH had bugs, none were acted upon until after the release. Underdark had bugs and none were addressed until after the release. Maze Engine... oddly same thing happened. Alliances... OMG same thing... again?
It is a failure if you refuse to learn from your mistakes... yet. I guess Cryptic is a human being... imperfect and not caring.
Mod edit - You have good points, so I wish to not remove this, but please refrain from taunting the mods.

Question: if we're a Helm guild and we invite other guilds to ally with us, will they benefit from our boon structure(s)? I really hope so.
No they still need their own boons structures.
They can however do dragon flight that will help them get more members.
There are more than BIS players in this game RIP Real Tiamat, RIP Real Demogorgon RIP real Temple of the spider. Why remove non bis content to give to bis players ???? FORCING the majority of your player base to play 4 mod old dungeons and trial will have a bad result on player base Changes are getting so bad i would rather prefer no new changes (RIP ICE FISHING in winter fest)
I was so happy to see the alliances glitches fixed this morning after the patch. I've already run a couple of heroics zergs in another stronghold to earn influence and this is going to add a lot more fun into the game. On behalf on my medium-sized, time-zone challenged guild I say "Thanks!"

Are the influence caps/diminishing returns per guild or something?
No, it's by character. You can only get 400, but you can get it in any of your allies SH - and no, you don't have to donate it to theirs if you get it in another SH.
We were all very happy that we now have our 13 guilds in the alliance after the fix! Thanks! I did notice one thing, though. The alliance chat is awesome to have and we love the way we can tag the guilds so we see where each person who chats is from. But, even though all the guilds have their settings to tag the guild, there are seemingly random times when nothing is by someone's name. Then they'll come back and the tag is there. Hopefully this can be looked at sometime in the near future. Thanks!
I think it happens when people first log on, or when they change characters. I have not been able to confirm that, but it seems to be the pattern I've noticed so far.

We've been noticing the same thing in our Alliance - sometimes the tags don't display. Sometimes I see the tag, but another person does not. Then it swaps. It's really inconsistent.

I can confirm this. Sometimes I won't see tags, but my partner (who is sitting 3' away from me IRL) can see them.. and vice versa.
