orcus set

anyone have any numbers on the increased damage for gwf's using this over lol set?

Depends on build if you are spec into executioner style, you can get the 30% from target getting low HP and it will multiply by the set bonus so it will be more effective, in theory you wont get the 10% boost if you're using the orcus set because many of the times you hit the target it will be not close to 0% so you get always less than 20% boost, maybe, just maybe if you have executioner's style you will reach those 10% boost in single target, another thing to keep in mind is if the 285% full time bonding bonus comes to real server arm pen from lm set becomes redundant and only useful for disciple of war (this assuming you want to use loyal avenger to max gifted stats, but then you will loose on a offence slot from adorable bites equipment). Basicly, a lot of money i dont have =/ to calculate wetter the lm set + adorable bites + the bit of overflowing power from arm pen compensates the orcus set offensive stats reduction + loyal avenger or adorable bites if you push some more arm pen into your artifacts etc. If you want my opinion orcus is not worth the return/investment for a matter of 1 or 2% dps.

From every thing I have read on it so far the orcus set dose between 20 to 30 % more dps than the nurffed LM set . that's at current pricing about 140k to 210k ad per 1% of damage for now I will keep my Lm set. But then i do get called a cheep skate from time to time

I dont know where you read that but that's 100% sure not true, after the companions equipment adequate being slot for each set, correct artifacts combination, only in a party with tremendous buffs you will see something near 20% more damage and it needs to be when the boss is way down in hp.

ya I guess I should have been more on info. that 20 to30 % depends on who your fighting and how good you are with your rotation. hit point diff and more. And before you flame me I'm with you on this. the damage increase is there but you got to get every thing lined up just right. and I know that this is true for all the equipment in this game. but it looks to me that the orcus set leaves to much you can't fully control. and they realy want a lot of ad for it. anyway have fun flaming me if you need to

Orcus will always be the best if you take in consideration best survival/dps, the shard rose the price to 3,4milion so it's not even a chance to many

I'm levelling up the neck right now, but still need rest. Wouldn't think about feeding my LM set to it.

Ahhh--to late. Bought off the AH for too much! xD I'm still not feeding the LM set to it, but am hot and heavy for the next double refine event.
