GF build Help

Hey guys I am a fairly recent 70 and I am have noticed that GF is all but useless in most dungeons and campaign quest (mostly cause I dont group) but even when in a dungeon I get one shot or close to it by bosses. I run a Iron Vanguard build that is almost excursively tank stats (the few boons I have are damage). I was wondering if I have just built the character wrong and now I am really feeling the effects. I know I can't do everything solo but I would like to at least have some effect in a party any ideas.

Based on what you are saying, you probably need to respect - or if your lucky, you just need to learn how to play your role.

GF should be able to solo all areas easily, it just might take a long time to kill mobs and be ultra boring

If you use your shield like it is supposed to be used, no boss should be able to one shot you

If you want any of the GFs to comment on your particular build - post some screen shots of your power point allocations and feats and also any boons you have picked up.
