SM GWF a Rarity on PvP

So i still dont get it,

How is it possible for GF to easily use the Swordmaster path and be focus on full DPS to stomp anything on their way,
without caring about defense, While we as SM GWF are "just a free food on pvp."
did i miss something,

did the devs mention that swordmaster "for Gwfs" are only for PvE?

how ridiculous is that,
this is going for a very long time now and seems to be forgotten or "simply ignored."

There's no a single Swordmaster focused on pvp,
all that i met died quickly and even with the same value of gear or higher geared (R12 etc.)
they don't have a chance to survive by their own, they do actually a good damage but they are squishy as hell,
something is definitely wrong here..,

    I have no issues as a SM in PvP. I solo q mostly and still mop the floor with people. I have insanely high burst damage while still being tanky af. The real issue between IV and SM is that most SM are PvE builds trying their hand at PvP whilst an IV has dedicated his build to PVP. I run 130% ArP, T Fey, T Neg, 5/5 CS.... I'm not going to go through my entire build but can confirm that PvP spec'd SM can still perform very well in PvP.

    Yeah with SM it's only harder to play, also I think that SM dmg is bigger than IV. And if you really think that SM is bad for GWF than you haven't seen how Ryu or Tardli played with that builds...

    that's the point,
    SM landed on a place long ago, where the most players think and prefer use it just for PvE.
    because when we see how most of the SM users getting nailed on pvp,it scares.
    and bring us to believe that this path definitely is not usable for pvp.

    The thing is that DS will many times end in fail, and fail again and again, it's much longer to cast and DR gained is not anything wow and keep in mind that mark means C.A.(37% more DPS ), 8% more damage from mark, 15% from powerful challenge, the only way around would probably be intigator/ sentinel feated player and get C.A. from NSF but that would mean a great loss in dps capabilities and crescendo is best yes, no doubt but savage advance can make a pretty fair work. Steel defence tough in r4 is pretty good againt TR's.

    Theres a couple of us on xbox. No IV's can even hurt me =D

    Find me in game if you want and send me a domination/ gaunt invite. If you are good and im not busy ill play with you. Im not an elitist ill play with almost anyone.

    Swordsmaster are completely viable if you actually learn how to sprint for cc immunity and use battle fury. IBS is kina bleh to be honest.

    You are fighting lower geared people then.
    Are you on xbox? If not im not sure how you can even say that. Iron vanguard is a totally old school mindset. I can't tell you how satisfying it is to get dunked and see IMMUNE lol.
