PvP and learning as a CW

I have come to the community in hopes of getting some pointers of optimizing my control abilities as a CW in PvE and PvP. I understand that we are a class set up for support, in PvE and PvP but is there one build that will help us with both?

No, pvp and pve are totally different creatures in this game.

Pretty much this. I can survive (and kill) PUGs with my PVE build in PVP no problem, but against any hardcore PVPer you don't have a shot without using a very specific niche PVP build.
