Determination Not Working in Battle

In the middle of battles when my great weapon fighter has more than 50% determination built and I try to use determination it will not activate and the bar will start to empty and build at the same time but I'm not getting the boost from unstoppable so I know its not working. Any one else having this issue.

I have a problem where I have 100% bar and I cant even call my determination... it's pretty annoying but I found out if I do another attack it would let me do.. have u tried that
