My warlock is currently 2.3k item level with 12,000 power 8750 critical 10000 armor pen and 1,800 recovery. What stats should i focus on for the most dps? also what enchantments for offense slots should i use?
Actually it is not. There is a confirmed damage bonus for having more arp. Its very noticable on my temp lock going between the snail and the extra 4k arp from the axebeak, putting me at around 14k arp in pve.
Yet you cannot provide proof of this confirmed bonus. Even if there is a bonus it is most likely very insignificant since no one else has ever mentioned this as being worthwhile, especially those players on PC who do have the ability to look at damage logs. 10,000 armor pen is a waste in PvE.
Woah rugburn, chill the flaming. I have also heard from other sources that there is some gain in additional armor pen, but can't remember exactly where. Read back mcmuffins orginal response. He said crit and power, but simply said arp is not complete waste if happen to have it... constructive criticism would serve other users much more, hence why I asked for the source. Flaming simply discourages others from sharing their experience or theories.
If original poster is still reading this, I'd recommend for a standard player and not min/maxer BiS to just stick with 60% arp for pve and stack crit for offense stat on a warlock. Life steal in defense.
Having more armor pen than the cap does not increase your damage in PvE...
Having more than 24% during Mod 5 didn't help why would having more than 60% now help. Until you show cold hard numbers you're wasting your stat distribution, and would benefit by putting more in power or crit. (Unless your PvPing then it's more than welcome to stack ArP)

I don't see how my comment is flaming? I simply asked for prof and offered a reason as to why the info is most likely incorrect. I have been through the PC forums multiple times and seen no such info regarding armor pen and those guys would definitely know.
Regardless, nothing to see here, moving along, these aren't the Warlock's you are looking for...
