Legitimate Players getting permanently removed from the game?

I have a devoted cleric that is very close to max item level on Neverwinter XBox One. I have been playing Neverwinter since last year and I have been farming, grinding, and flipping items in the trade house to attain the materials that were needed to improve my gear. I am now interested in using my excess materials and items to turn a profit.

It has come to my attention that several of my friends and guild mates have been wrongfully banned for purchasing AD, when they have not. Some of them have even been permanently banned.

My reason for this post is because some of these said friends and guildies have been helping me learn how to read the market better so that I can make a profit since the game has experienced a massive depression since the Mod 6 update. Since items salvage for considerably less and leadership no longer provides much rough astrals, trying to find good deals and making a profit off of items seems to be the best way to make astrals.

How is a legitimate player supposed to make a profit with their hard earned farmed items and intelligently read market purchases? Are you planning on completely demolishing the dedicated player population? Please respond devs!
