Hello all,
Been trying the masterwork professions and have unlocked the first quest to a few to check what is best.
The thing is I noticed something really odd in alchemy comparing it to the other masterwork professions. Let's take for example artificing:

As u can see if your task fails to tier 2 it gives u back 2 of the ingredients being used (you need 4 ingredients in total to start the task) which makes sense right?
Now let's go to alchemy masterwork

So, if u fail the task in alchemy it gives u back the ingredients to make one of the ingredient u need for this task. (u need 2 alum, 1 oil of vitriol and 1 nitre in total for this task) It gives u back 4 green vitriols which u use to make the oil.
And what makes even less sense to me is the following task:

The tier 1 will give u something better back in relation to the tier 2 xD
Since Alum>Aqua vitae
You dont even need aqua vitae at all..
Why would a tier 1result reward u better than a tier 2? Is this to make people less sad in case they misclick or forget to equip their purple tool? There's really no logic here.
Anyways, search the feedback threads and couldn't find anything about alchemy masterwork, so I'm sorry if this was posted before.
I really want to know if this is how this profession is or not before I really get into it.
If you can't convince them confuse them.
