double refinement working right?

Just tried refining the winter arti. When I put one of the winter items worth 320 refinement points, it only boosted to 400 but said the 2x event boost message. the 1400 went to 1750. that's not double. What am I not understanding here? I admit to being new to how everything works in this game still thus the confusion.
-Rule of Acquisition #113: Always have sex with the boss.
-I am one of the many victims from the hijacked Caspian Division.
I will not let the childish acts of a criminal ruin this game for me.
-The actions of Cryptic, on the other hand......

    It is because what is listed in the tooltip as 320 is in fact only 200. They changed the values of the lumens before the event launched but were unable to get the tooltips changed in time.

    So what should they fix? Tooltip or RP numbers?

    It's not worth fixing at this point, but the actual refinement points given is correct (per a post by asterdahl), so if anything the tooltip should be changed.
