The Future of PvP

I'm looking to cut out the "surprise" of what is coming for us in the next mod for PvP because cryptic gets creative on how they break this game.

Here's the item that does this.

So, Mod 8 I'm going to be standing with my back facing everyone in my invincible bubble propelling everyone back to WoW. Goooooo Cryptic PvP!

And this is just one of the broken rings out there, the other ring will make everyone invisible among other characteristics.

Cryptic logic of pvp. Instead of working to balance what already exists, they throw new stuff to make it even more broken. I think they are trying to learn from Pokemon. the game is so broken that it balances itself.

yeah, there are new rings that grant you stealth.
there are also rings that grant you damage immunity for a certain amount of time.
game is already boring enough with people barely dying on premades running dcs/pally. then they throw this stuff in the game... makes perfect sense.

wouldn't be surprised if that were true. They clearly have a hard time balancing pvp, and the pve was always the focus of the game. after all, the same pvp we have not has been on in the game for years, except siege, that after a while has no point in running anywya.

hope the devs is gonna fix it tho base on what they have done on the past, i highly doubt it as the pc community of this game is still complaining about all the issues that the devs is aware and promise to fix aeons ago

couldn't agree with more with you on haste dc and pally combo, been going against those rainbow pre-made yesterday against a certain guild and all of them stick to the pally and dc for the infinite bubble....is so boring..with all the rings that came out, the devs should just axe pvp together instead of wasting their time and resources to do all this just to get ppl to stay away from pvp, that will save them hundred of thousand of dollars in paying those programmer and use them somewhere else that needs it

You guys don't even know you think it's bad now... Pvp on pc is a bunch of BIS players running around in stealth (because of new rings having no cool down) or getting glitched in Dom against sw making you fly like a bird (ring of coward)

problem is that those devs are really newbies. they throw numbers and things in the game without being aware of HOW PLAYERS ARE GOING TO USE those things. They must run their calculations and idea, and for their gameplay it must be fine, but the experienced players will always make the max output of things they throw in the game, and that is where stuff gets broken. The devs should watch experienced players and hear the feedback more often.

lol...yo mel next time when the new ring is out record a video with the R Kelly song i believe i can fly as a background music, was great teaming up with u on siege, use the courage breaker to prevent the SW from running away n u finish it with shocking execution

I think id log in again just to some new dom map packs. Like if they took a small slice from the SH map and threw 3 nodes on it id be very happy.

Edit: ORRRR just make 10v10 dom maps out of IWD and DV with boundaries.

This game is like Monopoly. The end game is Bankruptcy after buying too much zen for your Gear Score.

It's almost like they don't even play their own game - oh wait they don't, we already know this (maybe all the devs got banned?).

And on the premade note - 2 clerics + Pally and then control 2Cws or 1CW and 1Smoke Bomb Bot (TR) is all the rage. I call this mode Node Math or Pally Standoff. Domination is an oxymoron at this point.

This is why honestly all the rage and salt and trash talk people in PvP do is so ridiculous. NW is NOWHERE near a true competitive vs. game. NOWHERE.

With the current state of how PvP nodes work no. Can anyone think of a way on how they could change the way the nodes work to make the game inherently more competitive in PvP?
