Sound in Winter event

What in the world is that obnoxious sound in the winter event? Its a very loud crash thunder sound but it seems out of place. Its not like a thunder crash in other maps. Its louder than anything in the whole game. Like a bang and someone blowing into a microphone while pressed against your mouth. Is this a bug or a purposely placed sound? Its very unpleasant.

Yeah, it is. I always associated it with a sound effect tied to the shallom course. The sound reminds me of standing under the EL. Loud and obnoxious.

Same here, however a temporary fix is to turn your ambient volume to 0% sadly that means you won't hear the wind, howls, etc. Hope they can fix it.

Very annoying and LOUD. It seems 10x louder than any other game sound/effects which is very annoying.

What about the catapults and barrels you blow up in War Makers and Malabogs Castle?

No, it's from the track. This is my third Winter Festival. I investigated this before. I just didn't post the details in my earlier reply.

If you stand on one of the bridges and look down on the track (best to do during event time, no waiting), watch and listen what happens when a racer hits a speed up arrow. This is why it is even worse during the race. More players hitting those arrows.

It is terribly annoying when you are not racing, sometimes it comes out much much louder than normal sound effects. Sometimes it also glitches out by the sounds of it and it is constant for like 30 seconds.

yeah, look from the bridge and you'll hear the sound go off as soon as a character comes on screen down in the track.
