Questions about plague fire, terror

Hey guys I was a old player and I'm coming back to the game, I want to know one thing, what good is the defense debuff from this enchantments if you already have lets say 200% armor penetration, would you still get any increase on damage or would it be a complete waste? And does the same happens with drow passive fire-something?

I remember back in the old days those things still got you some damage increase, I do not even understand how, but it used to do, and I want to know if it is still the case and if it is, if that is working as intended or if it is a bug.

Neither have changed (still works the way Kaelac described it). If you have enough Resist Ignored (ie ARP plus any stat/feat bonuses), terror & plague fire become a damage bonus. So my CW with 60% RI and a plague fire (assuming 3 stacks) will do about 9% more damage from the debuff, plus the damage from the burning. Monsters don't have defense exactly, they have DR (defense resistance). Also the effectiveness of the debuff is affected by the Resist Ignored, so if you don't have enough RI, the debuff is reduced.

Humm interesting, but what about on pvp?

...go to IwD Open World PvP with a buddy, choose different sides, and try. ACT-parse the whole affair, and look at your damage, or, better, effectivity change with and without these enchantments.

I like the Terror enchant.. turns your weapon black.

Plaguefire is neat, but it makes your character look like it's farting.. leaving puffs of smoke everywhere you go.
