How much resistance ignore is needed in mod 8?

Prior to mod 8, it was 60% for Tiamat. Has anyone figured out how much it is for mod 8 (demogorgon, demon HE etc)?

I tend to have my RI about 90% because of PVP. I tried toning it down this week to 67% and noticed no difference doing Demogorgon. I also found 67% was clearly not enough for PVP.

for PVE 60% is still the magic number.

I was gonna say.. I have just under -60% RI on my "big" GWF, and I'm still mowing through "normal content" with ease.

Epics don't pose an issue either.

Afaik 60 pve and 135% for pvp. 65+40+30 (trans neg) when facing a toon with full lionsmane etc.
No idea what my toon is now.

Ie. I can go from 135% up to 154% RI in pvp if a switch enchants around and it seems to make no noticlble difference.

What about an extra 30% from ring of sieging? Not very commonplace, but plausible.

Glad to know there may be an upper limit for PVP. PVE seems quite the bargain, stat-wise. Axe Beaks are only 2.9 million AD on the AH.

If your guild is good enough you can get up to 8k arpen just from the Stable boon. With that, either you go axe beak and don't care about arpen on gear, or you put a bit on your gear and go for something more like a snail. And axe beaks are not a particularly efficient investment on just a arpen/AD basis. Since that slot doesn't usually give stats, though, and the movement speed is quality of life (and has offensive/defensive impact in PvP), it's still really nice.

I understand the numbers at least conceptually. I have about 90 arpen now, with the SH boon (guild only at 10, so I think we get 4K from it.) I would either have to sacrifice other stats or get an axe beak. Snails aren't that hot for a GWF. We get good at-wills but dailies are meh.

I think you may be talking about the Legendary Chrome Plated Axe Beak--with its own attack and 140% speed. The 2.9 million was for the run of the mill purple. Legendaries are somewhere over 8-9 million.

EDIT: Todays cost for purple axe beak is 4.2 million AD, legendary going for 8.9 million AD
