power vs crit

ok, i'm really not trying to toot my own horn but I do a good job at dps. I can count on one hand how often I'm not the paingiver. So, i'm running elol with some people and i get beat by 5 mil (25mil to 30mil) by someone. we're both swordmaster, have similar equipment and a perfect vorp. he's using ibs, restoring strike and daggers. i'm using shout, dagers and ibs. his stats were all considerably lower save one point... power. he had about 18k power to my 13500 power. his crit was 5k where mine is 13500. is power that much better than crit? now i did go down to the scorpions with about 1/2 left on one of them but that couldn't have made much difference. his crit chance base was about 35% to my 60%.

Anyway, should i be looking at boosting my power over crit?
