I have a character that is level 65 and I got leatherworking ranked up to 25 but the 25 rare tasks never show up for him? do you have to be level 70 to craft level 25 products? the weird thing is the regular level 25 tasks do show up. the rare task I wanted shows up on my level 70 character (Although I do not have leatherworking leveled up on that character) but it's not there on the character that does have it leveled up. I've been watching for a few days now because I got all the kit I need to craft the thing i wanted to craft for my hunter..

    I feel your pain. I don't get the 25 elemental pants/shirt either

    I don't know the formula used, but the rare tasks seem to show up once every 7-9 hours. Checking hourly, if possible, is the best way to hit it. It's probably based on a random number generator, so results will vary. I've never seen a requirement to be 70 and I know it was possible for a less than 60 character to craft level 60 shirts/pants/jewelry when they were BIS, because I did that.

    I think it's some kind of bug because it's not there. nothing above 20 is showing up on rare tasks for that character. I have been looking hourly.. for a few days now. of course not every hour but hourly when I"m on. I know the pants were there with the same other choices on my level 70 characters.

    I just looked a few characters because I haven't really paid attention. I have a level 68 GF , lvl 23 plate and the level 25 task for shirt displays even though he can't make it yet. Lvl 67 DC with lvl 21 Artificing and it has rare lvl 25 pact blade task in the list. So, it is possible for the task to be assigned in at least some professions. I know, in addition, it works running lvl 25 tasks in leadership ( a complete waste), jewelrycrafting and Alchemy with characters under 70.

    Is it possible that you have checked hide "higher level tasks" or "tasks with missing requirements" ? I usually do and the lvl 25 tasks would not display when so set because neither of those characters currently has the dragon eggs, unified elements, etc that are needed. That is the only other thing I can think of, other than really bad luck.

    nope neither of those things are checked. I see the 25 level tasks just not in the rare tasks, only common.
